An amazing place

The southernmost tip of Iceland next patch of solid ground to the south is Antarctica about 9000 miles away. The mountain range to the north is crowned with Mýrdalsjökull Glacier over 4000 feet high. And as if this wasn´t enough the black volcanic sand beach stretches between two sests of majestic rock formations being eaten away by the wild surf and just off the coast towering basalt colums the right stuff of legends. And if the wind and the surf and the view get a bit too much there is the warm friendly Black Beach café serving hot soup and delicious homemade sandwiches, hot chocolate, coffee and even something a bit stronger. This could indeed be the right place at the right time tick off for your journey.
