Finger lickin´ langoustines
Við Fjöruborðið – www.fjorubordid.is
Situated in a small village on the south coast practically on the beach this place is certainly an experience. Its centerpiece is the north atlantic langoustine referred to by the locals as lobster. The slightly rustic fishing town theme of the restaurant goes perfectly with feasting on this delicious crustacean. Both their fantastic rich soup, boiled from claws and made almost chowdery with langostine chunks, and the main dish, tails with the shell sauted in butter and garlic, served with fresh bread, have made a steady attraction for this place for almost two decades.
